Shika Advisory

Advice from people who build the thing.

We help companies make more from what they already have. The same group builds and runs its own products, so we pay for the decisions we recommend.

Three strands

Where we advise.

Most advisers have never had to run what they recommend. We build and operate AfterRaise, AreaIQ, AI Site View, RareTrial and FreeTeleprompter. The advice comes from the same people.

01

AI operating model

Where AI changes how the work gets done, where it should not, and what that means for people, data and the P&L. Delivered as a sprint with something real to react to, not a deck.

02

Commercial growth

Make more from what you already have. Revenue you are not collecting, expertise you are not selling, data you are not using.

03

Life sciences

Pharma, biotech, diagnostics and medtech. The sector where our founder spent eighteen years, and the one we know from the inside.

How it works

Read first. Then propose.

01

A conversation

Tell us the question in your own words. No brief, no deck, no preparation needed.

02

A written read

We read the business before we ask anything that could have been answered by reading. You get that read in writing.

03

A fixed proposal

One proposal: what we will do, what you will have at the end, and what it costs. Fixed before the work starts.

04

An honest no

If something is not worth doing, we say so. That is part of the service, not a failure of it.

Who this is for

Four kinds of question.

  • Funded companies after a raise. The money is in. The question is where it should go first.
  • Life-science companies with an AI question. Pharma, biotech, diagnostics or medtech, and a decision about what AI should and should not do.
  • Boards that want an independent read. From people with no product to sell you and no reason to agree.
  • Experienced professionals turning expertise into a business. That is what our live courses are for. Shika Learning →

Bring the question.

We will read the business, then come back with a written read and a fixed proposal. Or an honest no.
